We have stayed with you many times in recent years. It has always been an excellent experience.
Clean, cozy, cabin with an authentic wood burning fireplace!! Great breakfast room and food. Staff is delightful. Looking forward to going back!! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I would give 10 Stars if possible. Very nice cabin. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Clean. Loved my little hike behind the grounds. Did not get a chance to use one of the 3 hot tubs or sauna, but looked so inviting. Good breakfast. See you next year. I will be back for even longer than 2nights.
We will be back! Nice place. Comfortable beds, good breakfast.
We loved staying in the cozy cabins at High Country Lodge (HCL) during Jan of 2016. They had a free buffet breakfast each morning that included eggs, breads, muffins, waffles, sausage, fruits, and several other items. All of it was really good and nice to have before hitting the slopes. The cottage we stayed in was pet friendly, so our sweet Border Collie could stay with us. HCL is in a nice location…not far from downtown Pagosa Springs in one direction and Wolf Creek Ski Area in the other direction. The tubing mountain is conveniently located next door and there are walking paths throughout the property. The staff were all nice and accommodating. We recommend High Country Lodge for families, couples, and those traveling with well-behaved fur family members.
The owner was very welcoming and kind. The cabin was cozy, matter of fact I enjoyed everything about the cabin expect the pillows, they were kinda flat. Also the housekeeping was really loud. I don’t mind people having a little fun while working but there should still be some consideration for guest who like to sleep in. The breakfast was a hit and miss. Boardgames & dvds are available to borrow, which we found to be a fun touch. It was a very romantic to sit in the hot tub under the light snow. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would return.
The lodge and the staff are wonderful. We chose the lodge for our vacation wedding and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect. We had the place to ourself to enjoy with our friends and family. The scenery was perfect and the pictures turned out beautiful. And I can not say enough about the staff working that weekend. They were so accommodating and helpful no how big or small the request was.
I thought it was a great little place to go tubing and have fun with your friends at a very affordable price! Thanks for the memories!
