At High Country Lodge & Cabins, we take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our guests and colleagues.  High Country Lodge has been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), and is working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning.

  • Hand Hygiene:  Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. Our staff is reminded daily that cleanliness starts with this simple act and is very important for their heath and that of our guests.
  • Cleaning Products:  High Country Lodge & Cabins only uses products that are Eco-Friendly and approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency for cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the facility.
  • Guest Rooms: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items, surfaces and flooring.
  • Public Spaces: High Country Lodge & Cabins have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the front desk surfaces, ice machines, door handles and public bathrooms.
